Originally from São Paulo, Brazil, Adriana Aguena brings a global perspective and deep passion for international legal education to her role. She earned her LLM degree in 2012 from the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law, where her journey — from law student to Assistant Director — reflects her dedication to the institution and its mission.
At McGeorge, Aguena oversees and coordinates graduate and international law programs, leveraging her own transformative experience to guide prospective students from around the world. She leads recruitment efforts — including international recruitment events across Latin America and Asia — builds cross-border connections, and supports students through academic and cultural transitions. Portuguese is her native language, and she is fluent in English and speaks advanced Spanish, enabling her to connect effectively with students and colleagues across cultures. Through her work, Aguena transforms education into opportunity, helping individuals turn ambition into achievement and potential into impact.
