Joanna Jenkins

Joanna Jenkins, MPAS, PA-C, earned her Bachelor’s in Biomedical Sciences from the University at Buffalo in 2021 and her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Pittsburgh’s PA program in 2023. She began her PA career in internal medicine in Pittsburgh, and then continued her career in Oklahoma working in a rural urgent care. These distinct environments allowed her to cultivate a versatile clinical skillset, ranging from complex chronic conditions to addressing acute medical needs in underserved populations. She has had a passion for teaching through every step of her training and career. She joined University of the Pacific in 2026 as a new faculty member.

When not working, Joanna can be found travelling, spending time with her family, or being outside in nature. She loves experiencing new cultures, cuisines and places! As a native New Yorker, she loves NY style pizza and bagels!
