Profile

Sebastian Dziallas is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the University of the Pacific. Before coming to Pacific, he served as a founding faculty member at Fulbright University in Vietnam where he worked closely with a core group of faculty, staff, and students to develop both the culture and curriculum of the university. He received a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Kent and a B.S. in Engineering from Olin College of Engineering. He is committed to creating a student-centered learning environment, with an emphasis on project-based and interdisciplinary learning. His research interests include using narrative methodologies to understand how students make sense of their learning experiences and exploring novel work-based learning approaches.
